This flexible package allows labs to purchase a predefined number of service hours to be performed by DI’s Technical & Professional Services team.

Instrument Manager™ Upgrade Service
Our Instrument Manager Upgrade Service packages offer the level of support your lab may require for ensuring a smooth installation and go-live of the latest IM software.
HOW IT WORKS
- Our Standard Upgrade Service package starts with a tailor-made implementation plan developed to meet your lab’s unique needs and environment.
- Our Base Upgrade Service package is intended for labs requiring an in-place server-based upgrade with low complexity, or for labs in need of DI experience to augment your in-house resources.

Technical Health Check
A Technical Health Check reviews all hardware, connections, drivers and configuration settings associated with Instrument Manager and identifies and corrects any issues with the potential of impacting IM performance.

- Our Technical Health Check covers hardware, IM system configuration settings, and best practice configurations.
- Includes up to 10 hours of professional service to implement recommendations.
- Our team will resolve any identified issues within 6 weeks.

AV Workflow Analysis
Our Autoverification (AV) Workflow Analysis service ensures that DI best practices are enabled in your Instrument Manager environment to optimize your lab’s productivity and patient safety.
HOW IT WORKS
- This 8-week service assesses your lab’s IM configuration settings and rule placement, and reviews all automated and manual workflows.
- Our team will also rewrite any rules that could cause a potential patient safety issue.
- Standard Package covers up to 5 AV workflows, including 1 high-complexity workflow. Premium Package covers up to 20 AV workflows, including 4 high-complexity workflows.

AV Workflow Validation
This service provides end-to-end autoverification (AV) validation testing and documentation for your lab’s Instrument Manager system.
HOW IT WORKS
- AV rules, value lists, test codes and workflows are evaluated for patient safety, effectiveness, and overall performance.
- Validation testing results are properly documented and stored to meet regulatory requirements by CAP, JCAHO, and other agencies.
- Any validation issues uncovered are corrected and resolved.

- Situations when this service can be especially helpful are during required annual regulatory testing and when implementing or updating AV rules and workflows.

Supplemental Mapping & Functional Testing Assistance
This comprehensive service provides the expertise and resources to ensure successful instrument setup and implementation.
HOW IT WORKS
- Our experts will build the proper driver analyzer configuration in Instrument Manager.
- Process includes building all applicable fluid codes and test codes, and any necessary rules for result processing.
- Error codes will be mapped with meaningful descriptions, with rules created to alert users of error codes.
