How do I start the process of transferring from a third-party license to a direct customer license of Instrument Manager?
To initiate the process, submit our request-to-transfer form and a representative from the DI Sales team will reach out to you to walk you through the process.
How long will it take to complete the transfer of my Instrument Manager license to a direct customer license?
The overall estimated timeline for the transfer process is approximately 3 weeks but is dependent on certain tasks being completed by the various parties.

Can I transfer a license without approval from the Reseller IVD?
No. The Reseller IVD must agree and sign the transfer letter approving the transfer.
When does DI begin providing support for the transferred licenses?
DI will begin supporting you as soon as the transfer letter is signed by all parties and we have received a PO.
Am I required to participate in the customer handoff meeting?
If you are a new direct DI Customer, it is required. If you are an existing DI Customer and are combining licenses, it is optional. DI strongly recommends attending the handoff meeting for customers who are new to DI support or who require assistance in transferring license files. Please inform your Sales Representative if you do not require the meeting.
